Job description

We are looking for aLeasing Coordinatorto join our Residential team in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the Leasing Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that Northview’s rental units are 100% occupied by qualified residents while maintaining a high level of customer service within our communities. This position offers flexible hours and is commission-based with unlimited earning potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Being the point of contact for leasing inquiries, including outside of regular working hours
  • Conduct viewings, reference, and credit checks
  • Conduct move-in and move-out appointments with residents and ensure legal documents are completed and signed correctly
  • Conduct periodic market surveys within the market in your area and recommend rental fees based on market findings for vacant apartments
  • Marketing rental units in line with current policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years’ leasing experience, ideally in residential or building management or as a real estate agent
  • Excellent customer service skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to speak and write English and French fluently
  • Able to work independently, a self-starter, and takes pride in the delivery of excellent resident services
  • Experience and ability in “closing the deal”
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in creative marketing
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary
  • Strong computer skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license and in some instances access to a reliable vehicle
