Position: Learning Technology Trainer

The Learning Technology Trainer plays a pivotal role in training and assisting faculty and programs with the integration of established and emerging learning technologies. This position requires a passionate educator skilled in relationship building, fostering long-term partnerships with clients and partners, and supporting faculty with technology integration.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical proficiency across various educational tools, including learning management systems, video conferencing solutions, media streaming services, and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.

The Trainer has diverse teaching experience and can effectively deliver learning in different modes, such as face-to-face, online, and blended settings, adapting to synchronous, asynchronous, and flexible learning situations. They proactively research and evaluate new technologies, assessing their potential to improve educational practices. Collaboration with other departments and academic programs to pilot and implement innovative technologies is also essential.

Additionally, the Trainer is responsible for creating and curating comprehensive training materials that are accessible and beneficial for faculty development. Through consultation and problem-solving, they assist faculty in overcoming challenges, supporting the institution’s Strategic Plan and the Technology Enhanced Learning Plan.
