Northland School Division is seeking a part-time Learning Support Teacher (0.5 FTE) for Elizabeth School, a rural K-9 campus near Cold Lake, Alberta. The role focuses on inclusive education, differentiating instruction, and collaborating with families and community partners to support student learning.

You will work with ECS to Grade 9, promoting Cree language and culture infusion, and ensuring access to quality programming for diverse learners. Teaching certification and BEd are required.

Competenze

• Must hold Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard certificate.
• BEd degree completed.
• Experience teaching in rural or Indigenous communities.
• 1 year of educational background in inclusive education, special education or disability studies.

Northland School Division is seeking a part-time, 0.5 FTE Learning Support Teacher for Elizabeth School. The teacher will work in an ECS to Grade 9 school located in the Metis Elizabeth Settlement, one of only eight legislated Métis land bases with Métis governments established in Northern Alberta, Canada, and protected by legislation. Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard certificate.
• Must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd.) degree.
• Successful years of teaching experience in rural and/or Indigenous communities.
• 1-year educational background or experience in one of the following areas:
• Inclusive Education
• Special Education
• Disability Studies
