About the Role

  • The Learning Resource Teacher is a passionate, collaborative educator who supports students with diverse learning needs through tailored strategies and inclusive practices. Working closely with classroom teachers, families, and specialists, the Learning Resource Teacher creates a nurturing environment where all students feel empowered to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who values curiosity, compassion, and creativity in teaching.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
  • Completion of a recognized B.Ed. program (Special Education emphasis is a strong asset)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Additional certification or professional development in inclusive education or learning support
  • Recent training in differentiated instruction, learning disabilities, or behavioral support strategies
  • Emphasis in Special Education
