As a Learning Portfolio Lead, you’ll drive business outcomes through agile learning solutions, supporting our Functions organization at RBC. Your role will lead a portfolio of work, advising on design, development, and delivery of effective learning programs aligned to business objectives. You will oversee the backlog of work, provide guidance, and make decisions on prioritization, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and integration. As a trusted subject matter expert, you will monitor program performance, establish metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to allocate resources, enabling Functions partners to achieve their goals through targeted learning initiatives that drive business success.

What will you do?

  • Leads and liaises with the business, managing a portfolio of work aligned to business segment and region or role families
  • Oversees a portfolio of work (products) aligned to the business segment and manages the backlog
  • Advises on design, development, and delivery of measurable effective learning, ensuring alignment to business objectives and adherence of standards
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions
  • Monitors and tracks learning program performance, and addresses any issues
  • Establishes business objectives and metrics for each program to assess learning impact and track program success and trends
  • Acts as a trusted subject matter expert to build trust, engage in active listening, and provide objective and practical ideas and insights that enhance learning outcomes
  • Provides input on capacity and resource allocation for key project resources in collaboration with key learning stakeholders

  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence and impact stakeholders
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and delivery management skills
  • Knowledge of instructional design to architect effective learning solutions
  • Ability to implement strategies and execute on a portfolio of initiatives with evolving priorities
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of learning expertise, business acumen and consulting skills
