As a Learning Experience Designer you will:
· Drive engagement and impact through the planning, design and development of clear, engaging and visually compelling learning solutions that enhance learning retention and on-the-job performance
· Demonstrate creativity and initiative through the design and development of industry-leading learning solutions including, but not limited to, ILT, workshops, conferences, e-Learning, videos, podcasts and job aids as needed
· Incorporate our vision and purpose into everything you do
· Provide value-added professional advice to business partners to solve business challenges and enhancing learning design and effectiveness
· Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions
· Apply professional experience and judgment in the planning and accomplishment of projects, initiatives and professional goals
· Manage learning design and delivery to meet timelines and budgets
· Maintain your external network to understand the competitive landscape, and keep abreast of industry developments, including new technology solutions and trends
· Tackle various projects related to learning and development, as required

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Learning Experience Designer? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
· Completed post-secondary education, professional certification or equivalent experience in training and development / instructional design – CTDP Designation would be an asset
· 5+ years’ experience in designing & developing learning solutions to support performance including, but not limited to, ILT, workshops, conferences, e-Learning, videos, podcasts and job aids
· Extremely creative, with a keen eye for visuals and the ability to develop engaging, visually appealing media
· Solid knowledge and experience of course development software, such as Articulate Storyline and Rise
· Experience designing/editing with graphic media tools, video, audio, animation/motion graphics and simulations
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build relationships with and influence individuals from all areas, role levels and functions in the firm
· Strong consultative skills, are very creative and agile, and possess excellent SME and stakeholder interviewing skills
· Demonstrated experience developing and delivering best-in-class on-line/e-learning courses and in-person development solutions
· Strengths in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
· Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively and successfully under pressure
· Experience in basic project management and client relationship management
· Flexible to occasionally travel within Canada as required
· Can share samples of your work during the interview process, if requested
· May have additional assets such as background in/knowledge of Accounting practices; certifications/experience in Design Thinking, Change Management, Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile
