Position: Learning and Development Specialist

MAKE AN IMPACT THAT MATTERS

We’re looking for a collaborative and solutions-oriented Learning & Development Specialist to join our high-performing team. In this role, you’ll support the strategy, design, and delivery of learning programs that build capability, support change, and drive growth across the firm.

You’ll work closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to create targeted, engaging learning solutions—from professional and leadership development to technical and blended learning programs. Your work will help shape a culture of continuous learning through facilitating training, coordinating projects, and improving systems.

If you’re passionate about helping others grow, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong project coordination and communication skills, this is your opportunity to make learning matter.

What You’ll Do

  1. Partner with internal stakeholders to assess learning needs and design targeted, effective learning strategies and solutions.
  2. Work with Subject Matter Experts to design clear, practical learning programs, materials, and job aids.
  3. Support the development and maintenance of blended learning programs, in partnership with technical experts.
  4. Support the design and development of core leadership and professional skills learning programs.
  5. Assist in firm-wide change management, including stakeholder analysis and training delivery.
  6. Plan and coordinate projects, including scoping, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
  7. Administer the Learning Management System and other L&D databases.
  8. Facilitate internal training sessions.
  9. Collaborate with support functions on shared priorities, knowledge management, and process improvements.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1-2 years of experience in learning and development or instructional design, preferably in client service environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, combining pragmatism and creativity.
  • A curious, adaptable mindset with a service-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying technical information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate); experience with LMS preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines proactively and calmly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

WHY HH ANGUS

  • Hybrid and flexible work options.
  • Defined career paths and mentorship support.
  • Meaningful projects with real-world impact.
  • Comprehensive benefits, wellness programs, and professional development.
  • Inclusive, collaborative culture where your voice matters.
