The Company2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Canada Recipient & Fast 500 North America RecipientSpryPoint is modernizing how utilities serve their communities. As a high-growth software company, we're shaking up the status quo in the utility industry with the first and only truly cloud-native customer service and operations platform purpose-built for modern utilities.

Founded by industry veterans in 2011, we've grown from a profitable startup to a rapidly scaling company of 300+ employees serving 100+ utility clients across North America and the Caribbean. Our mission is simple: utility leaders should expect more from their technology providers.

Utilities face urgent demand to replace inefficient legacy systems while managing increasing operational complexity, and evolving customer expectations. With more than a decade of experience, and a track record of successful implementations spanning water, electric, and gas utilities, SpryPoint has built a reputation as a trusted and mission‑critical partner to utilities across North America.

We deliver comprehensive solutions including SpryCIS, SpryEngage, SpryMobile, and SpryWallet that modernize the entire meter-to-cash process. What sets us apart? Our "updates, not upgrades" approach, user‑centric design, and unwavering focus on customer success.

Backed by strategic investment from Norwest Venture Partners since 2023, and an exciting new investment partnership from Insight Partners announced in 2026, we're accelerating our growth while staying true to our core values: lead with kindness, vision with impact, radical honesty, bold disruption, keep it simple, and execute with excellence.

Join our award‑winning team in transforming an essential industry that powers communities across the Americas.

The Role

The Learning Design & Enablement team at SpryPoint is committed to creating innovative, engaging, and effective product training for our clients. As a Learning Designer at SpryPoint, you will be an integral part of the Learning Design & Enablement team. You will have the opportunity to create a range of training artifacts and activities that will not only show clients how to use our software, but why they love it.

You will report to the Manager, Learning Design & Enablement, work closely with fellow Learning Designers and also with our product development team, our UI team, and our Service Delivery team.

This position is fully remote, with the opportunity to travel throughout North America at times to SpryPoint events and to client sites.

What you'll be doing:
  • Creating exciting and effective training for our clients
  • Contributing to successfully moving our clients through their implementation journey
  • Reworking technical documents and other material into effective training, activities, and assessments
  • Assisting with creating onboarding and training content for new internal SpryPoint team members
  • Participating in team brainstorming sessions and contributing to e-learning initiatives
What You Bring:
  • 2+ years of experience creating high-quality training material for software applications
  • Certificate/Diploma with a specialization in instructional design for adults, curriculum development, or a related field
  • Experience using Adobe products, Zoom, Pages, and Keynote to create a variety of training activities and artifacts
  • Strong proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline, with working knowledge of LMS platforms and SCORM-based publishing workflows
  • A curiosity for AI-powered tools (e.g., Synthesia, NotebookLM) and a willingness to experiment, iterate, and bring fresh ideas to how we deliver learning digitally
  • Excellent verbal communication and advanced writing skills in English
  • Demonstrated interest in lifelong learning
  • Experience in the utility sector, SaaS, or software implementation is preferred but not required
