Now Hiring: Learning Coordinator | 6-Month Contract with the possibility for extension

Location: Markham, ON

Role Type: 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (3–4 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $28/hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Learning Coordinator to support the rollout of high-impact Leadership Training Programs within the Learning & Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating events, and is passionate about creating exceptional learning experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, you will play a key role in planning, logistics, and program delivery—ensuring every detail is handled seamlessly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multiple leadership development programs, ensuring a smooth participant journey from registration to completion
  • Manage invitations, scheduling, reminders, and updates using LMS and Outlook
  • Oversee psychometric assessments, training calendars, and post-session surveys
  • Track progress, prepare weekly reports, and ensure communications are accurate and aligned
  • Support in-person sessions, including setup, vendor coordination, and wrap-up logistics
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, global teams, and external vendors (hotels, food, transportation) to deliver professional and engaging events
  • Insurance or a Finance industry experience is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Excel, LMS, SharePoint, and digital collaboration tools
  • Post-secondary education in Learning & Development, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
