The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist will be a keycontributor to the KFC Canada Restaurant Support Centre (RSC). Thisrole will design, develop, and deliver blended learning solutions,including but not limited to Virtual, eLearning, Microlearning, and,Virtual-instructor-led training. The L&D Specialist will workcollaboratively with P&C colleagues, as well as cross-functionalstakeholders, to produce effective, timely, engaging, and informativelearning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities(includes but not limited to):

  • Use existing L&Dprocesses and strategy to design, develop, review, and updateeLearning modules, micro-learning, videos, webinars, and othercontent, applying adult learning principles and using authoring toolssuch as Vyond, Articulate 360, and Adobeprograms.
  • Work inconjunction and develop effective relationships with P&C colleagues,internal and external stakeholders, and 3rd-party service providers tosupport the achievement of established L&D objectives.
  • Write,edit, and format documentation and materials needed for curricula,including Leader and Learner guides, workbooks, storyboards, and othertraining materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with SubjectMatterExperts for curriculum reviews, to ensure content is relevantand up to date.
  • Provide occasional updates and maintenance tothe Learning Management System(LMS) and provide guidance to technicalsupport team in troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Workclosely with LMS technical support team, to identify internal and/orexternal emerging issues, trends, and needs, and inform leadership todrive business strategies and decisions.
  • With the support ofthe L&D Manager, lead and manage learning projects, taking theinitiative to set goals, research solutions, and track progress toachieve desired outcomes.
  • Facilitate engaging trainingsessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels,ensuring content is relevant, impactful, and aligned with theorganization's culture and business ambitions.
  • Support theL&D Manager during all stages of a project from start-up to finishwithin the established timeframes.
  • Partner to create anddistribute clear communications about training delivery, includingschedules and program updates.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness oftraining programs via surveys and analyses with internal and externalstakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative, logistics, andinvoice management support to the L&D team.

Key Qualifications:

Required

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in AdultEducation, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or relatedfield, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in corporate Learning andDevelopment
  • Experience in applying adult learning andinstructional design methodologies
  • Proficiency with eLearningauthoring tools, video creation software, and LMS Platforms(Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond)
  • Proficient in AdobeCreative Suite (Adobe Premier Pro, Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop,Illustrator)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills, with ability to present toall levels of the organization
  • Creativity, detail and resultsorientation, collaborative and proactive working style
  • Self-motivated and responsive to external drivers andinternal client issues
  • Strong organization, analytical, andproblem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced,multi-task environment with competing priorities
  • Ability totravel 10% of the time

Preferred

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
  • Prior experience in QSR or CPG industries
