A regional transportation agency in North Bay is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design and deliver training strategies aligned with organizational goals. This role includes developing onboarding programs, managing compliance training, and creating digital learning solutions. The ideal candidate has a university degree in Human Resources and 5+ years of experience in training and development. A strong understanding of adult learning principles and excellent communication skills are essential. This position offers a salary range of $97,578 - $114,790.

The Learning Development Specialist designs and delivers training strategies aligned with organizational goals, enterprise projects and compliance needs. This role will focus on ONTC’s onboarding and orientation by developing structured learning pathways, system training programs and certification processes to ensure employees are equipped for both daily operations and broader initiatives. The Specialist collaborates with project teams, consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful training that supports organizational growth and transformation.
The successful candidate will need to pass the following clearances: criminal record check, employment references and education verification.
