Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Collaborates on plans and strategies for learning management by working closely with the Senior Learning Advisor and the OD team to support the development and execution of a learning agenda that meets the most critical needs of the Enterprise. Works collaboratively with the Learning stakeholders to ensure the learning is managed and delivered effectively.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develops Learning Management programs and initiatives supporting business requirements, partnering with HR practitioners and stakeholders to identify learning needs and support implementation.
  • Maintains effective learning partnerships across the enterprise, keeping stakeholders updated on learning trends and frameworks.
  • Leads the development of learning policies, processes, standards, templates, tools, and metrics to ensure consistency in training courses.
  • Designs and refines assessment strategies and outcomes for complex training projects.
  • Provides advice on enterprise learning programs, develops measurement and evaluation strategies, and recommends content methods.
  • Leads the development and delivery of internal learning interventions using blended learning approaches, including online training.
  • Supports frameworks, methodologies, and tools for learning, knowledge management, and organizational development.
  • Researches best practices and trends, aligning learning programs with strategic priorities.
  • Contributes to departmental goals and initiatives.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Typically requires an undergraduate degree in Education, Training, HR, Business Management, or related fields, plus five (5) years of progressive experience in creative learning solutions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems and related concepts.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for learning and experience in learning roles.
  • Experience with LMS platforms.
  • Understanding of the training cycle and activity design.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of management in unionized workplaces.
