Pilot Assessments in Richmond, BC, seeks a Second-in-Command for Learjet 75 operations. You will pilot non-scheduled CAR 604 private and CAR 704 charter missions domestically and internationally under the PIC, upholding the highest safety and service standards.

The role requires 2,000 hours total with 500 PIC turbine hours, a Transport Canada ATPL, and multi-engine turbine experience. You must be eligible to work in Canada with international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,000 hours total time with 500 hours PIC turbine time.
• ATPL licence issued by Transport Canada.
• Multi-engine turbine experience; jet time and international experience advantageous.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Second-in-Command under the PIC for both private and charter missions.
• Operate on CAR 604/704 missions domestically and internationally.
• Execute all flight phases per SOPs, operations manual, and regulations.
• Communicate with PIC, cabin crew, passengers, maintenance, dispatch, and ATC.
• Assist with pre-flight planning, weight/balance, weather, NOTAM reviews, and post-flight documentation.
• Support collaborative cockpit culture and maintain situational awareness.

What you’ll do

• Serve as Second-in-Command under the supervision of the PIC, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism on every flight.
• Operate on both CAR 604 private (non-revenue) and CAR 704 charter (revenue) non-scheduled domestic and international passenger missions.
• Execute all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs, the operations manual, and applicable aviation regulations.
• Communicate clearly with the PIC, cabin crew, passengers, maintenance, dispatch, and ATC to enable smooth, on-time operations.
• Support pre-flight planning, performance and weight/balance calculations, weather and NOTAM reviews, and post-flight documentation.
• Contribute to a collaborative cockpit culture—sharing insights, backing up checklists, and maintaining situational awareness at all times.

What you bring
