Job summary

The University of Ottawa is hiring a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) for the Winter 2027 semester at the Main Campus. Hourly rates are provided for undergraduate and graduate students, with rates of 33.83 CAD and 53.31 CAD per hour, respectively.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Statistics Software.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience with online course delivery.
• Experience with online videoconferencing environment (e.g., MS Teams)

Responsibilities

• Research tasks as negotiated with supervisor (0 hrs).
• Preparation tasks as negotiated with supervisor (0 hrs).
• Contact with students and supervision of sessions (15 hrs).
• Grading and correction tasks (14 hrs).
• Proctoring exams and monitoring sessions (3 hrs).
