Leadership Development Consultant – Category B

LinHR client is looking for leadership development consultants working on a contract basis.
The work location: Most of time, work from home or your own office, except for having meetings with clients in Ottawa, ON, Canada. Security Clearance: Valid Secret (Level II)
As a Leadership development consultant, you will work with management team closely to help them develop a detailed action plan to address the need for culture change and to move forward to improve workplace wellness through establishing a workplace wellness team, providing the tools needed to succeed, developing an action plan, and taking concrete actions to support positive change.
Hourly rate: 40.00 to 90.00 CAD

Responsibilities
  • Provide an orientation to the proposed approach with management team
  • Develop a process for the development of clear action plan addresses skill-building / culture change
  • Build on the necessary identified skills and demonstrate clear action towards change
  • Design and conduct a change readiness assessment in order to plan and carry out a change management strategy
  • Identify change management tools and risks
  • Design interventions aimed at improving organizational effectiveness through system-centered change and people-centered change
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, framework
  • Provide expertise, consultative advice, guidance and coaching to build project capacity to make effective use of change management strategies and related tools;
  • Articulate the purpose of change in a manner that makes sense to staff and provide a compelling picture of the new organization;
  • Coach staff on the value of their contribution within the new organization;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the change management initiative
  • Develop performance measurement/evaluation frameworks
  • Integrate performance monitoring disciplines in an organization's development or change management plan; and
  • Carry out performance monitoring and reporting activities on change management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five (5) projects in designing and facilitating organizational change programs within the last five (5) years
  • A minimum of three (3) year of experiences in conducting a large scale - over 150 staff facilitation initiatives or alternative dispute resolution process related to organizational learning or leadership development.
  • Candidate must have valid security clearance
  • 10 years of consultant experiences
  • Experience with the tools of leadership, emotional agility, self-management, and presence that supports a workplace where inquiry, resilience, civility and engagement are thoroughly present and harnessed.
  • Language(s): Bilingual (English and French) in oral, writing and reading is preferred
