Job summary

Government of Saskatchewan seeks an experienced Manager, Out of Home Care to lead the CFP Division's out-of-home care continuum and service delivery to foster families and extended families. The role reports to the Director, Out of Home Care and involves strategic planning, data reporting, and travel to the North service area.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in a human services field and extensive leadership experience in Child and Family Programs, with knowledge of

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Work or related human services discipline and progressive management experience.
  • Knowledge of child welfare principles, Out of Home Care service delivery, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong leadership, HR, labour relations, change management, budgeting and strategic delivery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Ministry staff delivering initiatives for healthy families.
  • Oversee delivery of child and family services ensuring effective support.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with Ministry goals.
  • Build partnerships with First Nations and community organizations for inclusive service delivery.
  • Travel as needed to supervise in the North service area.
