Bombardier is seeking a dedicated Leader, Operations for the Manufacturing Paint Shops, Day shift at Marcel-Laurin Plant 1. You will oversee a ~25-person unionized team, ensuring production objectives are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

We value five-plus years in a supervisory role, strong planning, and excellent communication. Bilingual English/French skills are essential in our dynamic aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of ~25 unionized employees.
• Be responsible for the operational processes of the sector by achieving and monitoring production objectives.
• Plan the daily operations of the sector and follow up on them.
• Report and analyze indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, and absenteeism.
• Resolve problems efficiently and timely; promote cross-department communication.
• Ensure continuous improvement through operational excellence and problem solving.
• Provide training and evaluate employee performance and progress.
• Foster a teamwork-driven, open-communication work environment.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Work on the day shift from Monday to Friday.
• Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees.
• Be responsible for the operational processes of your sector by achieving and monitoring the production objectives.
• Plan the daily operations of his sector and follow up on them.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a college or university degree in aeronautics, engineering, operations management or a related field.
• You have at least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment.

• You have excellent communication and leadership skills.
