Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise the activities of approximately 25 unionized employees.
  • Manage operational processes, achieve and monitor production objectives.
  • Manage budgets and ensure product quality.
  • Plan daily operations and follow up.
  • Report and analyze indicators related to productivity, quality, safety, absenteeism, etc.
  • Resolve problems efficiently and promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding sector issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement using operational excellence and problem-solving techniques.
  • Train employees, evaluate performance, and support their development.
  • Foster a team-oriented and communicative work environment.
  • Exercise leadership aligned with Bombardier’s vision and values.
  • Coach team members to develop their talents.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in operations, production, engineering management, or related field (aeronautics is an asset).
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Managerial courage in personnel management.
  • Interpersonal skills for effective relationships across all levels.
  • Motivated by a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • Proficiency in French; bilingualism is an asset.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
