Meet the Team

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as a Solutions Engineering Leader within our Global Security Sales Organization! We are searching for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded technical sales leader who has a passion for delivering elite technology and services to protect our customers using capabilities delivered from the network, endpoint, and SaaS offerings for any cloud. This position is ideal for someone with validated leadership skills and related industry and technical expertise, to drive success with their team and regional peers. This role requires an ambitious, self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, develop and execute sales strategies, articulate Cisco’s business value and technical capabilities, and drive the activities that make deals happen.

Your Impact

As a Security Solutions Engineering Leader, you will work closely with customers, partners, and regional leaders in the Canadian public and private sectors to develop and execute sales strategies that drive regional growth. You will partner with Security Sales Leadership, demonstrating both technical and business excellence to meet revenue goals. You will lead and mentor a motivated sales engineering team passionate about bringing transformative technology to life for our customers and partners. You will develop solutions using Cisco's security portfolio across environments, utilizing Identity, Cloud, Network, and XDR capabilities. You are responsible for recruiting, developing, and performance managing your team to position Cisco's security solutions effectively against competitors and serve as trusted advisors for customers and cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as Firewall (NGFW/IDS/IPS), Content Security (Email, Web, DNS Protection), Endpoint Protection (EPP), Threat Detection and Response (EDR), Access Control, Cloud Native Security, SIEM, or SOAR
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity market trends and customer needs, including new products and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams, operations, or strategy development
  • Ability to articulate security architecture integrated with cloud, networking, and data center technologies
  • Experience aligning go-to-market initiatives with security industry trends
  • BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent (highly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Cisco and Splunk portfolios, and ability to articulate their value
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to provide thought leadership and present strategic information to diverse audiences
