Job summary

WSP's Applied Solutions team is seeking a Construction Supervisor for Winter Access Construction & Environmental Remediation in Canada. You will lead field activities across remote northern environments, coordinating teams, equipment, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

Rotational work December 2026 through May 2027 with potential extension. You will collaborate with Indigenous communities and partners, ensuring environmental commitments and quality standards are met

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of construction supervision experience on civil, infrastructure, mine closure, environmental remediation, or earthworks projects.
• Demonstrated experience with ice road and winter road construction in northern or remote environments.
• Strong understanding of construction equipment, field logistics, workforce planning, scheduling, and productivity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on-site ice road, winter road, environmental remediation, earthworks, and civil construction activities to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Create and maintain a strong safety culture aligned with Life-Saving Rules across all on-site personnel and partners.
• Coordinate daily field operations, equipment, resources, logistics, and subcontractors to meet project schedule and budget objectives.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Indigenous communities, local contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and costs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
