Job summary

Tundra Process Solutions seeks a Lead Valve Technician for our Fort St John branch. You will field-service ball and gate valves, repair choke and control valves, and troubleshoot with clients on-site or remotely. The role includes ESD valve repairs and in-house work on manifolds, actuators, and ANSI valves.

Requirements include 2+ years in Oil & Gas, ability to work independently, forklift certification, and hoisting/rigger training. Fort St John area locality or relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in Oil & Gas sector.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience and training in Hoisting and Rigging.
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket.
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driving record.

The Role

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
• On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components
• In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves
• Pressure Testing
• Forklift Operations

The Candidate

• At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Lives Tundra Core Values
• Experience in pressure testing is preferred
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
• Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Must be local to the Fort St John area or willing to relocate

Compensation

$33-43 per hour. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, andis a component of the total rewards package.
