Title : Lead Shipment Coordinator - Night Shift

Location : Lachine

Overnight shift, starting at 1am

Advantages

• Hours are 1am to 9am schedule
• Salary depending on experience, 60-70k range.

Responsibilities

Assist in achieving the objectives of the pick-up and drop-off (P&D) operations across dispatch and dock staff

Plan the shipment activities and staffing required to meet the objectives

Ensure drivers, trucks and trailers are assigned to appropriate dock doors, greet and guide drivers

Monitor and track all equipment as assigned or moved

Ensure accurate completion of the dock and office duties

Ensure dock workers are properly loading / packaging freight, ensure all outbound trailers are loaded to capacity

Qualifications

2 to 5 years experience in the transportation and / or warehousing LTL environment

Validate forklift license to support for emergencies

Strong geographical knowledge of Montreal (preferred) and Ontario (asset)

1 year experience using TMS software (Truckmate preferred)

A true team player who posses leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure

Organized and ability to prioritize tasks
