TEEMA Group is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor in Kamloops to lead a skilled team of Traffic Technicians and TCPs. You will coordinate daily operations, manage schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently to a high standard.

You will oversee training, equipment, and fleet management while maintaining strong communication with field crews and clients to resolve issues and keep projects on track.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in traffic or transportation with leadership preferred.
• Valid Class 5 non-GDL driver’s licence with a clean 3-year abstract.
• Current Traffic Control certification that can be maintained.
• Strong knowledge of BC TMM and TMPs.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, leadership, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following policies and procedures.
• Ability to complete required drug and alcohol screening and fit testing.
• Experience delivering training or presentations using PowerPoint or Canva.
• Knowledge of provincial traffic regulations.
• Experience with LEAN and 6S practices.
• Background in employee development and performance management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and support Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs).
• Coordinate daily schedules, crews, equipment, and resources to keep projects running smoothly.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, WorkSafeBC requirements, and provincial regulations.
• Inspect traffic control setups to meet project plans and safety standards.
• Ensure employees have the required training, certifications, and equipment.
• Maintain fleet, equipment, and inventory, ensuring everything is accounted for and in good working order.
• Communicate regularly with office staff, field crews, and customers to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Review timesheets, equipment documentation, and work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer service.
