Job summary

CN is seeking a Supervisor Track Maintenance to manage track inspection and repair operations across assigned CN territories, including rails, ties, switches, and ballasts. The role entails supervising a team of track personnel, enforcing safety procedures and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with management on daily production and maintenance priorities.

The incumbent will travel up to 50%+ with occasional nights and weekends, and must lead with accountability, coaching, and clear

Qualifications

• Experience in managing track maintenance operations and supervising a unionized workforce.
• Experience in enforcing safety procedures and compliance with FRA/CN policies.
• Experience with budget management and labour relations within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering operations as outlined in CN's operating plan.
• Supervise a team of Assistant Track Supervisors responsible for rail inspection.
• Oversee track gangs, track inspectors, and hi-rail operations and ensure safety compliance.
• Apply collective agreements and CN policies, investigate issues and respond to grievances.
• Communicate track conditions and daily production information to senior management for adjustments.
