Olympic View Golf Club in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Lead Teaching Professional / Assistant Golf Professional for a full-time role. The position centers on delivering high-quality instruction, running clinics and camps, private lessons, and supporting daily guest experiences.

Candidates should have 3 years' championship-course experience, be a Class A or Elite PGA of Canada member, and be proficient with POS systems and Golf Genius.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience at a championship golf course.
• PGA of Canada Class A or Elite Member in good standing.
• Experience in golf instruction with a growth mindset.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and spreadsheets; Golf Genius is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead golf instruction to ensure smooth daily operations and guest experiences.

In addition to instructional duties, the successful candidate will have part time Golf Shop duties during both the summer and winter months. While Golf Shop responsibilities are a component of the role, instruction will remain the primary focus.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

• Inspire and lead golf instruction to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional Guest experiences.
• Assisting with instructionalprograms, group clinics, summer camps and teen camps
• Delivering private instruction to members and guests
• Helpingdevelop and enhanceour overall instructional offerings
• Drive an exceptional Member and Guest experience from start to finish, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns and building strong relationships.
• Collaborate with the entire Golf Operations Team to support compliance with club policies and industry best practices.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3 years of experience working for a championship golf course.
• Passion for golf and creating a welcoming Guest experience.
• Class A or Elite Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, and spreadsheets. Golf Genius is an asset.
• Experience in golf instructionand a mindset to grow the game.
