Job summary

WSP is seeking a Solar PV Engineer to shape renewable energy projects across Canada. You will design, optimize, and advance utility-scale solar systems, collaborating with professionals from multiple disciplines to deliver practical, high-performing solutions.

The role offers growth within a national renewable energy team, with opportunities from development through detailed design and construction, based in Ontario or Quebec offices.

Qualifications

Engineering degree and professional engineering registration or in final stages (within a year).
5–10 years in solar energy, power generation, or engineering consulting with utility-scale project experience.
Experience designing, optimizing, and reviewing solar PV projects.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize utility-scale solar PV projects across Canada.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, constructible solutions.
Develop and optimize solar layouts, equipment configurations, and design parameters.
Support projects from feasibility through design, construction, and commissioning.
Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and third-party deliverables.
