OpenText is hiring a Lead Software Developer for the Intelligent Viewing team to shape the next generation of their cloud-first, document visualization platform. You will design and develop high-performance C/C++ solutions powering secure viewing, annotation, redaction, and comparison across Windows, Linux, and WebAssembly environments.

You will mentor developers, drive automation and CI/CD improvements, and balance backward compatibility with forward-looking development.

Formación

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ development with high-quality software design.
• Excellent debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience on large-scale enterprise applications with legacy functionality.
• Commitment to coding standards, testing, and best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with growth mindset.
• Ability to work in a distributed, global team while balancing backward compatibility.
• Experience in Windows and Linux development.
• Hands-on with rendering/visualization technologies such as Windows APIs, Skia, and WebGL.
• Knowledge of document/graphics formats including PDF and SVG.
• Proficiency with development tools like Visual Studio, GCC, Clang, and Emscripten.
• Experience with build automation and DevOps tools, including CMake and GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain software components in C/C++ that cross-compile on the Windows, Linux, and WebAssembly platforms.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, architecture decisions, and development best practices.
• Improve software quality through automation, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
• Mentor and guide other developers working on a complex, multifaceted codebase.
