What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Develop and maintain backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL
2. Implement AI orchestration systems integrating LLMs from various providers
3. Design APIs and backend logic for real-time AI interactions
4. Monitor and enhance system performance across millions of documents and AI-driven interactions
5. Collaborate with AI researchers and product teams to translate AI capabilities into real-world applications

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2. 7+ years of hands-on software development experience in backend development and building scalable web services
3. 3+ years of experience with Python development, including FastAPI and PostgreSQL
4. Expertise in AWS cloud services or similar cloud services
5. Strong data engineering background with experience in retrieval systems and modern DevOps best practices

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tooling
2. Familiarity with AI solutions and understanding of agentic systems and workflows
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries
4. Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
5. Demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to engineering culture
