Job summary

OpenText is hiring a Lead Software Developer (DevOps) for its cloud/SaaS platform in Ontario. You will lead DevOps and automation across development and operations, building a scalable public cloud service and ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

You will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes, drive IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and provide production support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or cloud-based enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Solid Linux administration, troubleshooting, and production support experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving mindset and communication in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with excellent communication skill in English.

You are part of an Engineering organization building and operating a highlyscalable, globally available Public Cloud Service (SaaS) in the EnterpriseInformation Management domain. Working closely with Software Engineering and ITOperations, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability,security, and continuous evolution of our fast-growing cloud platform. In anagile environment, you will drive automation, streamline operations, and helpdeliver new capabilities to customers around the world.

This is a highly technical, hands-on DevOps role focused on cloudinfrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and production reliability, whereyour primary objective will be to build, maintain, and optimize scalable andsecure deployment platforms that enable efficient software delivery.
