Our client is a leading microelectronics manufacturing and engineering firm founded in 1987, specializing in the miniaturization, design, and manufacture of custom microelectronic circuits. They offer unique electronic packaging design services for the medical, military, avionic, sensor, and high-end industrial markets.

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a permanent full-time position. The Process Lead reports to the Process Lead Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Implement and monitor processes
  2. Validate products and processes
  3. Improve and enhance processes
  4. Reduce process costs
  5. Select and commission equipment
  6. Perform equipment maintenance
  7. Train operators (process-specific)
  8. Evaluate product reliability risk
  9. Perform related tasks as needed
What you'll need to succeed
  • Educational background: University or College diploma (DEC) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in robotics, automation, and mechanics related to microelectronics component manufacturing, SMT, NASA 8739.6, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001 standards
  • 2–5 years of experience in the process and/or manufacturing of microelectronic components
  • Proficiency in automation and mechanics
  • Experience with pick & place, SMT processes
  • Programming and software skills
  • Knowledge of microelectronics materials and thermal management
  • Ability to work independently and follow multiple processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
