Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. seeks a Lead Software Development Engineer (SAP ABAP) to drive SAP ECC/S/4 HANA integrations with ONESOURCE products. You will mentor teams, shape architecture, and collaborate with SAP and global partners to deliver high-value compliance solutions.

The role offers a hybrid Canada/Toronto work model, exposure to AI-enabled development, and opportunities across multiple SAP platforms with a focus on customer success and lifecycle engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role
• Deep expertise in object-oriented programming (Singleton, Abstract classes, Inheritance, Polymorphism)
• Experience with SAP enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Points) and clean core principles
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools to accelerate design, development, testing and code review
• Fluent English with strong communication and customer-facing skills

• Drive transformation and innovation of SAP products and integrations
• Design architecture for SAP-integrated solutions within ONESOURCE Transactional Compliance
• Lead SAP integration teams to deliver within scope, on time and with quality
• Mentor and review team members to maintain high standards
• Collaborate with international teams and SAP partners and support go-to-market activities
