Promise Robotics, based in Calgary, AB, seeks a Senior Robotics and Control Engineer to lead design and optimization of robotic manufacturing systems. You will collaborate with software developers and robotic engineers to advance core automation technologies.

The role requires deep expertise in industrial automation, robot programming, PLC/HMI and safety standards, with a track record of commissioning equipment. Calgary facility, with travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/College degree in Robotics, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, evaluation and improvement of robotic manufacturing systems and processes with software and hardware teams.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic hardware, sensors, drivers and software.
• Maintain and promote a safe, professional environment with high safety awareness and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
