Vans is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a Brand Advocates team and provide exceptional customer experiences that reflect our brand values. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through engagement, merchandising, and operations, stepping in for the Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

2+ years retail leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and motivate a team to deliver best-in-class customer experience reflecting the Vans brand values.
Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through engagement, merchandising, and operations.
In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full store responsibility and maintain standards.
Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding with high-caliber talent.
Provide ongoing training, feedback, and development to team members.
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Manage expenses, shrink, and drive profitability in daily operations.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and product replenishment aligned with brand directives.
