Pillway in Brampton is seeking a proactive QA Engineer to ensure quality across Web, Mobile, and API surfaces. The role blends manual testing with AI-driven QA practices to boost test generation and defect prediction.

You will design and execute test strategies, collaborate with developers, product managers, and clinical stakeholders, and help drive end-to-end quality in a fast-growing healthcare tech startup.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional QA experience with strong manual testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman) is essential.
• Familiarity with Azure and modern QA workflows in development teams.

Responsibilities

• Write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for Web, Mobile, and API.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and exploratory testing.
• Apply AI/ML tools for test data creation and defect clustering.
• Collaborate with Developers and Product Managers in Agile ceremonies to define testing strategies.
• Track defects using JIRA and communicate results clearly in English.
