Lead Product Manager - Trust and Safety (Remote - Canada)

Overview

Yelp’s Trust & Safety team is seeking a Lead Product Manager to lead efforts in our Review Recommendation System and global compliance initiatives. You will play a key role in defending against fake reviews and deceptive behavior, and in ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple jurisdictions. This is a high-impact, remote role open to applicants across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for AI/ML/LLM-powered spam detection, review recommendation, and account integrity systems.
• Partner with Legal to interpret and implement regulatory requirements such as DSA, CPRA, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and deliver impactful solutions.
• Utilize data and experimentation to evaluate threats and measure product performance.
• Communicate progress and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership.
• Represent the Trust & Safety team as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in ML/AI systems; LLM experience is a plus.
• Proven success in Trust & Safety, content moderation, fraud detection, or recommendation systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Data-driven with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of global online platform regulations is advantageous.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $124,000 - $269,000 annually, plus potential bonuses, stock, and benefits.
• Fully remote work across Canada.
