Job Description
What’s the opportunity?

The RBC Assist team is at the forefront of creating the next generation platform that empowers all teams at RBC to build innovative AI solutions. Our goal is to empower our customers to create transformative AI and ML solutions off data that they securely store in our compliant data platform, to create new and innovative experiences for their customers – all while helping to accelerate RBC’s AI digital transformation.

In this role, you will own specific product capabilities within RBC Assist, working closely with senior PMs and engineering leads to deliver features that improve employee productivity, from requirements definition through launch and iteration. This is a hands‑on role focused on execution, user research, feature prioritization, and cross‑functional collaboration

As a Lead Product Manager, you’ll get a chance to build a portfolio of innovative AI and Data platform products for RBC and partner with enterprise teams to use and continuously improve them. You will be responsible for defining and delivering products that solve high‑impact business problems and driving the strategic product roadmaps for your portfolio with the support of the engineering, advisory, and research teams.

Your responsibilities include:

Product Development:

  • Define ‘what’ and ‘why’ the platform should be built, and what business and user problems they will solve;
  • Work closely with customers and key stakeholders to derive insights to inform product strategy and planning;

Product strategy:

  • Contribute to product vision and roadmap planning, translating strategic priorities into executable feature requirements;
  • Define success metrics and track progress against team OKRs

Product Growth:

  • Drive growth and consumption of the platform through the product to achieve our overall product KPIs;
  • Increase adoption and retention of the platform by understanding product consumption and customer needs;

Product Evangelism:

  • Drive GTM (go to market) excitement and awareness of our platform capabilities across all enterprise teams at RBC;
  • Build and showcase product POCs and demos with engineering;

Stakeholder management:

  • Act as the glue across disciplines and between organizations to ensure RBC Assist’s product vision, strategy, roadmap and progress is clear and transparent across all levels of the organization;
  • Communicate product strategy and updates to senior leadership within Lumina and across the enterprise.
You're our ideal candidate if you have:
  • At least 2‑4 years of product management experience in a top‑tier technology company, with a focus on AI or machine learning products;
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus;
  • Experience shipping AI/ML‑powered features or enterprise productivity tools
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and working closely with engineering teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to cross‑functional partners
  • Curiosity about AI/ML concepts and willingness to develop deeper technical fluency
  • Demonstrated ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations is a plus but not required
  • Experience working on UX and front‑end development.
What’s in it for you?
  • Be part of a dynamic & flexible working environment
  • Become part of a team that thinks progressively and works collaboratively. We care about seeing each other reach full potential
  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock options where applicable
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact from a local‑to‑global scale.
