Lead Process Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction Industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Our client seeks a Senior/Lead Process Engineer looking for a long-term career, with strong process development and project delivery background and mindset, as well as strong EPC experience and a background in leading small teams. This role also includes hands-on work as a discipline engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Process conceptualizing and design
• Technical reports
• HAZOP participation
• P&ID, PFD, LDT development and review
• Hydraulic calculations and line sizing
• Process simulation
• Process equipment sizing and selection
• Vendors bid technical evaluation

Requirements:

• APEGA registered P.Eng with a minimum of 12 years' experience in a related environment (water treatment, packaged equipment, cEOR, or Facilities Engineering). Experience in EPC, oil and gas, mining, and catalysis will be considered an asset.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Progress reporting
• Software proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and MS Teams
