Job summary

The Citco Group is hiring a Manager of Fund Accounting for Private Assets in Toronto. The role leads a team focused on NAV calculations, financial statements, and partner allocations, with strong attention to compliance and client deliverables.

You will oversee daily operations, manage audits, and collaborate with multiple Citco groups globally to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).
• 4+ years’ experience in managing a team of Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Supervisors.
• 3-5 years of fund accounting experience in Private Equity Fund or related institution.
• Knowledge of US/Canadian GAAP and other comprehensive bases of accounting.
• Experience reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and FIS Investran experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations.
• Oversee Net Asset Value calculations for Private Equity Funds, including financial statements and partner allocations.
• Review fund expenses such as admin fees, management fees and carried interest.
• Review accounting work, investor statements and regulatory compliance; ensure documentation quality.
