Job description

Our client is an established, yet ever-growing service provider that is looking for an advanced PLC Programmer to lead a newly established division in the company. If you are a motivated programmer with leadership skills and expertise in automation services, you are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, test, and commission automated control systems
  2. Program and troubleshoot PLCs (primarily Rockwell Allen Bradley)
  3. Apply knowledge of HMIs and Vision Systems
  4. Create and update electrical schematics
  5. Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Project Management teams
  6. Adhere to project budgets and safety standards
  7. Provide technical support to customers
  8. Travel to customer sites for servicing and installation
  9. Test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair devices
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of PLC programming experience
  2. Advanced proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs
  3. Advanced electrical design experience
  4. Trades certificate or postsecondary education in engineering/automation
  5. Robotics integration experience is a plus
  6. Clean driver's abstract and valid G license
  7. Willingness to travel locally within a 1-hour radius (company vehicle provided)
