Job summary

Bardel Entertainment in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Pipeline Lead- Core to design, develop and maintain the studio's internal pipeline library, CI/CD infra, and core services including package management. You will lead the Core Pipeline TD team and set engineering standards across the pipeline.

You'll mentor developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in production tracking, Docker/K8s, and DCC integrations on Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Katana, and Blender.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in VFX, Animation, or Games pipeline development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (OOP and functional).
• Experience with CI/CD systems and package management (Rez).
• Experience with DCC apps (Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Katana) and render farm tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of the studio's internal pipeline libraries and CI/CD systems.
• Mentor and manage a team of pipeline developers and TDs.
• Collaborate across departments to align technical and creative goals.
• Own and evolve the CI/CD system and platform architectures.
