Where you fit in :

You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the technical support of the inventory management system and processes within ambulatory pharmacy purchasing. This includes ordering, receiving, and maintaining adequate pharmaceutical supplies for ambulatory and outpatient locations, managing inventory control, and overseeing related invoice documentation.

Your skills and qualifications :

  • Utilize inventory control strategies to maintain optimal pharmaceutical levels.
  • Reconcile purchase orders and process invoices for timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate cost and pricing data in databases.
  • Perform medication compounding under pharmacist supervision when necessary.
  • Generate reports related to pharmaceutical use.
  • Fulfill ambulatory requisitions, package orders, and oversee courier deliveries.
  • Support the medication inventory distribution system and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ambulatory regulatory standards through technology and process management.

Minimum requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED (required); college degree preferred.
  • Experience in institutional pharmacy and pharmacy buying roles.
