What you’ll be doing:

  • Client Support (Primary Role):

    • Provide personal care and assistance with hygiene, mobility, dressing, feeding, and medication reminders

    • Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors in their homes or retirement communities

    • Assist with light housekeeping, errands, and accompany clients to appointments

    • Accurately document visits and communicate any client changes to care supervisors

    • Build meaningful rapport with clients and their families

  • Administrative & Office Support (Secondary Role – when not on PSW shift):

    • Answer client calls and inquiries, manage digital records, and support shift scheduling
    • Help with the onboarding process of new staff and maintain client files
    • Assist in community outreach and represent the company at events or facility presentations
    • Develop and deliver presentations using PowerPoint or other tools to promote services to referral sources, partners, and potential clients
    • Support social media updates, email follow-ups, and marketing coordination


Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of Canadian work experience as a Personal Support Worker
    • PSW certificate from a recognized institution
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
    • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Confident in small-group presentations and public-facing interactions
    • Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
    • Ability to travel within Kitchener, Waterloo and nearby areas
