Job description

I am hiring a Lead Penetration Tester on behalf of an exciting consultancy specialising in cyber security solutions. Their expertise includes risk and threat assessments, ensuring robust security measures for existing and new technologies. They promote a security-focused mindset within DevOps teams, coordinate penetration testing, and document security risks. They foster effective teamwork and manage client relationships, driving new business opportunities through established contacts.

In this role you will be responsible for:

1. Performing Penetration Tests - Performance of Penetration Tests across areas such as Web Application, Cloud and API.
2. Innovative Leadership and Strategy - Guide your team in creating forward-thinking approaches to security for various projects, integrating cutting-edge technologies to establish resilient and efficient practices.
3. Strategic Execution and Process Enhancement: Lead the design and delivery of intricate security assessments in cloud and containerized platforms. Oversee resource allocation, ensure exceptional quality standards, and champion advancements in methodologies and tools.
4. Guiding and Empowering Teams: Cultivate a skilled and enthusiastic group of security professionals. Promote an environment of constructive feedback, mutual learning, and team cohesion through collaborative activities and social initiatives.
5. Client Relations and Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams to surpass expectations. Prioritize effective communication, foster strong relationships, and maintain a steadfast focus on delivering outstanding outcomes.

This role requires three days a week in office.

Essential:

1. Minimum of 2 years experience in team leadership within cyber security
2. Several years experience as a Penetration Tester
3. Strong leadership skills
4. Expertise with Cloud and API Penetration Testing
5. Strong knowledge of Cloud and Infrastructure Security
6. Solution oriented mindset
7. Strong interpersonal skills - will be communicating with both clients and the internal team
8. Strong written and verbal skills in English and German (C1 German minimum)
