Home Church Langley (www.homechurch.ca) is a Gospel-centered, Christ-exalting, grace-filled community of 140 people. We are a warmly Reformed church – Calvinistic, Covenantal and Confessional – and a founding member of the Reformation Canada Network (www.reformationcanada.ca). Since 2002, we have rented a public school gymnasium which we have outfitted with a mobile audio-visual console, a modern fixed projector and spotlights. Our New Pastor
Home Church Langley is seeking a qualified pastor (or student-in-training) to teach and preach the Word of God with integrity and joy and lead the congregation:

1. Preaching: We value preaching that is Christ-centered, Grace-filled, Expository, Doctrinal, Practical and Exhorting, easily relatable to prodigals and saints alike.
2. Humility: Possesses a teachable spirit in both his personal and public life.
3. Joy: Possesses a friendly, enthusiastic approach to life in general and the congregation in particular.
4. Relational: Possesses a level of interpersonal excellence inside and outside the Body of Christ.
5. A Shepherd’s Heart: A Godly man longing to shepherd and serve one flock on a long-term basis.
6. Discipleship: Loves to equip the saints for the work of ministry, thereby building up the body of Christ.
7. Personal Integrity: Starts in the heart and is keenly observed by his family.
8. Spiritual Gifts: Possesses spiritual gifts of teaching, administration and leadership.
