Job summary

Software Mind in Ottawa seeks a hands-on Palantir/GenAI specialist to lead data pipelines and production deployments. You will build Foundry pipelines, craft semantic layers, and implement LLM-powered workflows, balancing speed with robust engineering.

You will translate business needs into concrete plans, review code, mentor engineers, and drive projects from prototype to production, while communicating clearly with technical and business stakeholders across EST hours.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on Palantir Foundry and/or AIP experience on real client or production projects.
Experience building agentic or GenAI applications is highly preferred.
Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to integrate AI with enterprise data sources, APIs and business systems.

Responsibilities

Build and manage Foundry data pipelines, ontology components and applications.
Design semantic layers with Palantir ontology (Object, Link, Action Types, Interfaces, Property Sets).
Develop LLM-powered workflows using AIP Logic, Automate and Assist.
Take AI use cases from prototype to production: build, test, deploy and monitor.
Lead technical discussions with client stakeholders; explain design choices and risks.
Translate business requirements into implementation plans and production deployment guidance.
Coach engineers and resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery.
