Job summary

Horizon Health Network is seeking a Saint John area Medical Radiation Technologist 3 (Supervisor) to oversee diagnostic radiography services across facilities. This supervisor role requires registration with NB regulatory college, leadership experience, and scheduling responsibilities.

Position is permanent full time with a 1 FTE, day/evening/on-call schedule and English plus basic French language requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered with the New Brunswick Regulatory College of Medical Radiation Technologists.
• Minimum of three years progressive related experience and demonstrated leadership ability.
• Regular attendance and ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day to day operations including scheduling of staff.
• Triage, schedule patients and assign work.
• Participate in performance appraisals.
• Train and mentor new staff and students; support staff educational opportunities.
• Provide clinical expertise to staff, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
• Assist with development and implementation of policy and procedures and ensure adherence.
• Manage inventory and supplies and liaise with vendors and purchasing department.
• Performing the work of a Medical Radiation Technologist.
