The position involves supervising staff, coordinating workflow, and maintaining high-quality laboratory standards in a fast-paced environment. This term appointment supports the Boundary Trails Health Centre lab services.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' recent extensive work experience in a related area including supervisory and/or administrative experience required.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.
• Successful completion of the CMLTM Prior Learning Assessment process for a discipline specialty, as deemed by the Employer may also be considered.
• Advanced academic achievement (e.g., A.R.T. or B.Sc.) preferred.
• Relevant courses or seminars preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the laboratory section.
• Manage administrative and supervisory duties, ensuring QA compliance.
• Maintain safety and Accreditation standards.
• Coordinate workflow and supervise staff, promoting teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with health care professionals and other labs.
