Qualifications

• Requires a B.S./B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial automation/robotic systems or similar environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating mechanical design work packages through release and issue resolution.
• Cross-functional experience with mechanical, electrical, controls, and software disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of automated machinery and robotic systems translating requirements into robust solutions.
• Develop, review, and approve 3D models, drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and documentation.
• Apply engineering calculations and test data to support design decisions in harsh environments.
• Coordinate mechanical design with electrical, controls, software, robotics, production, and project stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, interns, and technicians.
