Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years masonry experience.
• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent required.
• On-site role with no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, veneers or other masonry units.
• Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects.
• Lay bricks, stone or veneers to provide veneer facing.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
• Cut and trim bricks and blocks to specification with hand/power tools.
• Lay masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces (residential/commercial).
• Supervise other workers on site.
• Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures.
