Job summary

AbbVie Canada is seeking a dynamic Manager, Market Analytics & Business Intelligence (MABI) to lead a team of analysts within the Winning with Data group. You will guide analytics, shape long-range commercial strategies, and drive data-driven decision making across brands and sales portfolios.

The role requires strong leadership, deep pharmaceutical market knowledge, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic actions for executives and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, business administration, business analytics, statistics or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of related experience is required.
• Experience should include 3–5 years in a pharmaceutical commercial role and 2–3 years in market research.
• Previous people management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor MABI analysts in critical soft skills and technical growth.
• Drive organizational change through structured performance appraisals and development plans.
• Lead sales force modeling and budget communications for incentive plans.
• Partner with BU Heads, Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams.
• Transform data reports into executive narratives with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Data Solutions teams to pilot AI-driven efficiencies while maintaining data privacy and governance.
• Negotiate with market research suppliers and maintain audit-ready records.
